1973 - K.A. Zareena established. One of Singapore's pioneers in the import and export of international confectionery such as Chupa Chups lollipops.
1982 - 1st retail arm set up by K.A. Zareena in Far East Plaza under the name of Sweet House.
2000 - Pearls @ Changi, was set up in Singapore's Changi Airport, making it one of the major players in confectionery travel retail. The name was subsequently changed to Candy Empire.
2003 - Candy Empire opened its first store at Millenia Walk to much public interest.
2006 - Following the success of its flagship store, Candy Empire opened its second store at VivoCity. The prime location, spacious area and wide variety available here continues to make it Candy Empire's most popular outlet yet.
2014 - One of the busiest year for Candy Empire with new stores at 313@Somerset, a Gourmet store at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and a sport-themed store at Kallang Wave Mall.
2017 - Candy Empire’s latest store at Suntec City Mall opens
Present - Till date, we have 5 outlets island-wide, including outlets at Singapore Changi Airport.
